Amber Petty
Amber has been creating stunning artwork and designs since 2008. Graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a BFA in Fine Art and Photography, Amber is extremely versatile in her creative skills with much experience in Graphic Design, Photography, Videography, Illustration, and Web Design. In 2021, Amber Co-Created Wilderwild, a self sufficient, e-commerce company where she gained hands on experience in all aspects of graphic design and marketing. Through her time at Banyan Batiks, Amber had the privilege of photographing and designing batiks, a handmade textile created in Indonesia. She also spends her free time as a freelance graphic designer, developing innovative digital and print designs for clients in a broad range of industries.
In Amber’s personal work, she finds most of her inspiration from other admired artist such as Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison, Sally Mann, and Teun Hocks. She mostly enjoys using black and white film as well as experimenting with alternative photography, such as vandyke and wet plate collodion printing.
In her free time, Amber also enjoys wood burning, hiking 14ers around Colorado, mountain biking, and traveling around the world.
