Each image is composed of many different materials such as found photographs, fabric, string, watercolor, and ribbon. While balancing between reality and a dream world, surrealism plays a large role in each image, allowing myself to feel free in my creativity. Some of the collages seen below are created based off of my own insecurities, while others are inspired by found photographs I've discovered through vintage thrift stores or on the internet. I also enjoy exploring images of women throughout history and how they are portrayed in photographs and paintings, then rewriting their story in a new and interesting portrait.
